Complementing 55022 from the first run is York’s 55013 in its similar special livery with silver fuel tanks, grey roof, red bufferbeams and white-painted extras, which it retained until its withdrawal in October 1981. It was repainted for the 1980 Rainhill Event, but was replaced on the bill by Tulyar.

The Definitive Class 55

A superb model in all respects. Brilliantly detailed and a super smooth runner. It's very heavy and so feels solid and planted. I'm impressed with the total package, including the customer service and website; which coming from me, a critical thinking and discerning customer, is true praise indeed!
Well done Accurascale, you seem to have nailed this one! Don't let these standards slip now as I have high expectations for your coming releases; of which I have pre-ordered many.

My favourite Deltic

55013, This is my favourite Deltic in the guise I've always wanted a RTR Model of. I converted a Lima model many years ago but it wasn't much good, this is superb. It's exactly what I wanted. It's not without it's faults (the front lights issue that we have to rectify our selfs with black tack or paint if we don't want to send it back) but other than that I love it. The chains that were such an issue on the first batch are now separate items to fit yourself if you want them. Best Deltic model out there

Deltic plus Accurascale = 10/10.

This is the latest of quite a few Accurascale Deltics I have. Small but telling improvements are much appreciated, particularly the hand brake chains. The lustrous paint finish is superb and the overall loco is 'just right'. Unfortunately, there is a motion problem with it, but that is of little consequence, Accurascale being quite upfront and arranging a return for a speedy repair or replacement.

Yet another fabulous model from Accurascale. I am bowled over by the quality of these models from fidelity through to running qualities and paint finish (which is applied perfectly). All three recently ordered are now at work on the layout.
