An OO great in an iconic livery

Probably my favorite diesel locomotive in my collection. Tons of detail, and hefty enough to pull just about anything I throw at it. The old Lima model of Gordon Highlander can rest easy, as we have the definitive answer from Accurascale.

Purple Glory

Wow. As usual all we have come to expect from Accurascale.
Infinite details, brilliant execution in model form. I purchased the none sound version, but then purchased the sound chip and speaker. Very easy to put together, and wow what sound comes out. I don't think i have heard a louder model, luckily it comes with different levels, impressive. I think the only think that i will find daunting is the application of some of the finer details (such as shed badge and things), which are incredibly small. Wish me luck!!
Over all another great buy very pleased

Best Diesel I have ever bought

The title of this review speaks for itself, this really is the best Diesel I have ever bought. It's heavy, runs like a dream, has working directional headlights and that Poterbrook Purple livery is gorgeous.

If you're having any second guesses about getting this model - please don't second guess and just get one - you really get your money's worth and they tend to sell out quite quickly.

And even if purple isn't your colour, there are the other colours as well.

An Impulse buy!

The purple Deltic was not on my ‘needed’ list. But having seen one on someone else’s layout from the first run of this particular loco I decided to add it to my collection. It looks great on display and the Deltic suits the purple livery, which I have to say Accurascale have applied flawlessly. It’s not currently sound fitted, like the other Deltics I’ve bought. But really looks the part!

Simply Exquisite

I missed out on the previous run of 9016 ''Gordon Highlander'', so when I saw that there was a re run I had it pre ordered and there are no regrets whatsoever. This is simply an amazing model that is beautiful in every way made by a manufacturer that continues to keep on raising the bar. I never saw 9016 running in this livery, but whilst it may be a marmite livery I really like it, In like these different liveries like this as it adds variety. I shall use this to haul railtours (though I'll be taking creative liberties of course) on my layout. Well done to Accurascale.

Deltic

What can I say? A superb loco, working straight out of the box and very well crafted. £169.99 for this? Yes, anytime and setting the standard other manufacturers ought to follow. Long may it last.
