Work of art in a box!

Definitely worth the wait, the detail on this loco is stunning. The weight and its pulling power is awesome. When it comes to creating models accurascale certainly know how to do it, these guys are the best at what they do!

Green Deltic

This locomotive is great. Finish is really good, sound is fantastic (really does sound like a Deltic). Running quality of the locomotive is superb. Only one tiny drawback, two ladders were lose in the box when I removed the loco. Could be stuck back on with a tiny bit of PVA glue.

Absolutely brilliant model, with all detail parts arriving intact. Paintwork looks great, although could perhaps benefit from a more glossy sheen. Runs brilliantly with a great haulage capacity.

Bought as a gift

I bought the C55 Duke of Wellington for my father and law as a gift. It is perfect for his themed railway. The locomotive feels heavy and looks very detailed. I think the packaging is excellent, such a large cushioned box and the included documentation is very good. As someone who studies railway history and prototypical trains I know he will get much satisfaction from running it.

I have not run the locomotive as yet but I will say it is a beautiful model although two of the steps on the corners of the model have fallen off and I'm still waiting for the info sheets and packing that was missing from the box when the model arrived.

Stunning detail

This model is outstanding, no damage, no minute parts broken, no paint bleed, and glue marks. Definitely the best detailed loco I have ever owned.
