      Zen decoder software has always been smooth, clever and easy to use but our new BLACK decoder range takes this to a new level, with extended and improved automatic braking and shuttle abilities, simple-to-use ONE step locomotive set-up and advanced brown-out protection.

      All of our decoders are tested at least 3 times before we package them for sale, so we know that they all work perfectly when we sell them and you can be quite confident that reliability is assured.

      • 4 functions at 100mA each
      • 2 additional “logic” functions
      • 22mm x 16.5mm
      • 21-pin direct, 8-pin & harness
      • One-Step Loco Setup
      • Shuttle mode (requires ABC boards for this to function)

      F0 – Head/tail lights
      F1 – Cab interior lights
      F2 – Destination boards

    A Great Decoder

    Another great item, very pleased with the TPE Mk5a DT decoder, makes a great item even better.

    Easy to fit but bits fall off the chase the decoder works well but found problem with the bogies.

    This little package moves the gorgeous driver coach into an even better place with control of the lights, but especially on my less than perfect track, no light flicker! Wonderful.

    Long awaited solution to the Mk5 lighting issues

    This long awaited addition to the Mk5 Driving Trailer is finally here. Sorts out the issues of the flimering lights and addresses a number of co cerns that people had. Does what it says and is a worthy addition to the range.

    MK5 DT DCC chip

    Very useful addition to enable all lighting functions to operate correctly without having to spend time researching the best chip to use. However wouldn't want to be removing the body too often but in fairness there is a warning about that on the instructions.

    Does the job

    This is just what was needed to add DCC functionality to the Accurascale Mk5a DT. The connected stay alive also stops the cab lights flickering over dirty track. Easy to fit and at a reasonable price.
