Decodificador DCC Lokpilot Clase 31

Andrew Barclay Loco

Beautiful little model. Finely detailed. Excellent footplate detail. Can’t say how it runs as I had to put it back in its box so my wife could put it under the Xmas tree

Andrew Barclay and SECR P Class Lokpilot DCC Decoder

It's a decoder, it's made by ESU, it's available at a good price, it works!
Nothing more needs to be said.

Andrew Barclay and SECR P Class Lokpilot DCC Decoder

Given 5 stars because it is a quality ESU decoder, fitted into a Barclay loco and gives excellent performance.

ESU LokPilot 6-Pin DCC Decoder For Andrew Barclay

I am usually an enthusiastic supporter of ESU DCC decoders but am not jumping for joy with this one. My Andrew Barclay runs very nicely at all speeds on DC but is 'coggy' at crawl speeds on DCC and often stops. I have run the Loco in for over 2 hours on my DCC Concepts Rolling Road and it did improve...slightly. I also purchased 3 of these decoders and all three had same performance - the extra two are for the SECR P when they arrive. My included video was made after running-in. At medium to higher speeds the loco runs fine. The puzzle is that on the exact same piece of 'clean' track the loco is fine at all speeds, but on DC! Also mentioned in another review is that there are no instructions supplied and it is easy to install the decoder the wrong-way. Must go label up. The attached blue wire is for lights. I would like to fit a stay-alive but can't see any suitable space. Hopefully someone else will do a YouTube tutorial!

AB LOK PILOT Decoder

This decoder has obviously specifically designed for the confines of this model. It would have been made easier if there was some instruction on which way round it had to be inserted and a small amount of the heat shrink protective cover had to be trimmed, but once fitted has worked excellent on my layout.
