Andrew Barclay 0-4-0ST 14" 'Carbon' in NCB lined maroon

An excellent looking locomotive shunter release by Accurascale. The small detailing aspects of the tiniest pipes, valves, gauges, hand rails, etc, are exquisite. The Maroon livery is beautiful and the lining over it is ultra fine. Sprung buffers are the norm with Accurascale as with the driving rods which are smooth running. The crew of the driver and coal man enhance and really make this a worthwhile purchase.

Impressive little model at a very reasonable price. Runs excellently from first out of box. Looks classy and surprisingly weighty which gives more stability and pulling power than expected. Earlier problems re fixing mechanism appear to have been resolved. Very pleased with this purchase.

Another great little loco for my industrial area of the layout

The Loco is fine as the Hattons original was, BUT the box it is in is way over the top, we don't all have warehouses to store our locos in !!!

Been waiting a long time for these after Hattons closed their doors but it has been worth the wait. It's a lovely little engine.

First class model,runs really well, very pleased.

My original model motor was unseated and was unable to be fixed however accurascale customer service was incredibly helpful and sent a replacement which works flawlessly and seeing the recent post I'm glad accurascale is taking feedback on board so quickly

Very happy with the locomotive. It is well designed, built and well detailed.

The model came well packed. The product box however felt rather oversized but if it's necessary to protect such craftsmanship it's understandable. The Loco runs beautifully right from the box and the detail is stunning. If you want a small industrial loco this is the one to get.

I already have a few from Hattons.
However I fail to see the need for such a large box-it’s absurd. I presume you’re trying to grab shelf space at retailers. I don’t have shelf space for boxes like that so shan’t purchase any more
