7754. NCB Green Livery

Otro producto de la North British Locomotive Company fue la 7754. Dejada de fabricar en 1930, se asignó a Reading, donde se la vio operar en todo tipo de trenes. Tras pasar por Old Oak Common y Wellington, fue retirada del servicio en 1959. Adquirida por la NCB para su uso en el sur de Gales, primero se destinó a la mina de carbón de Talywain antes de ser transferida al nuevo sistema Mountain Ash, donde funcionó hasta 1975. A pesar del interés de muchos particulares, la NCB la donó al Museo Nacional de Gales, que la cedió en préstamo permanente al Ferrocarril de Llangollen, donde fue restaurada a vapor en 1994. Acaba de regresar de una importante revisión y aún se puede ver en servicio en el Ferrocarril de Llangollen.
