Best Brush 2 I have seen

Been worth the wait another stunning highly detailed model from accurascale. Perfect in every way. Front view is just awesome just like its main body - Love the livery and a tops number was my time period so will always go for these.

402

As I am sad enough and old enough to have logged 402 on several evening commutes labouring northwards at full thrash from Gasworks Tunnel on the climb to Finsbury Park and beyond, this model was a must have and does not disappoint. Simply splendid.

Accurascales best diesel model yet. A smooth runner, fantastic sound and great detail.

Gargoyle stumbles up the steps.

The recent arrival of my "gargoyle" was the end of a timely anticipation filled wait.

The locomotive is fantastic, dripping with details and looks the part. The details are so plentiful the loco was found to be literally dripping with parts. Like Sam's Trains, my loco had not one but two cab individual access steps come adrift during transportation. I reattached the wayward steps to their correct locations and the beast has now entered service.
Due to the slight blip mentioned I have deducted a star on this occasion.
I am also concerned about the access "covers" on the base of the bogies to protect the driving gears are only held on by delicate fragile clips. This is a bad design and more robustness should be incorporated within the design.
The locomotive is now a regularly rostered unit on my 5 coach regional services.

Well worth the wait

It seems so long since I placed my class 31corder, but now it’s here I’m glad I waited

Physically the model is superb, and the sounds really bring it to life. The Accurathrash speaker is a work of genius

Nice one Accurascale 👍👍👍

Now, how about some Isle of Man models to run on all the new 12mm track that’s around……?

Class 31/248

Have bought 2 Accurascale class 31 both are wonderful models and a welcome addition to the BR fleet. Miles ahead of the previous generation of the model class. Detail is crisp running quality is excellent from craw to top speed. lights are up to Accurascale usual high spec cab in particular is a thing of beauty. Sound not fitted (yet)

Why 4 stars? Build quality, one buffer needed fixing on one model the other model two buffers 3 corner steps one windscreen wiper and parts from the front of one bogie have all needed fixing. Not to mention the brass/copper is showing on the handles on the roof on both models. With in the first few days.
