I have acquired three of these gorgeous coaches for my collection to hauled by my Acurascale DELTIC, the detail, livery application is of the highest level. Well worth the investment, in short gorgeous 😍 Suberb.
Can't wait to DCC fit it but as it is, a stellar model, slightly noisy but that may be controller related. 10/10
Just a few years ago it would have been hard to believe that a ScotRail Mk2c CK would be available at all in RTR form, let alone to this standard. The running qualities, detail and decoration are to at least the same standard as the Mk2b coaches. I particularly like the fact that the white headrest cushions are absent from the declassified compartments on this model. Running qualities and interior lighting are also spot on making this an all round stunning model as d wxcellent value for money.
First problem I had with any Accurascale model. It had a rough journey . On opening the box I found a broken buffer. I then went on to test it and found no movement as it was seized . The con rods were out of alignment.I fixed this and it ran smoothly. accurascale sent me a replacement buffer but I have not repaired this yet. I had identical issues with another Manor but both are now still working ok. The model detail is very good and now runs well and the sound is excellent. I was happy to give the model 5stars and blame the problems I had with the courier.
Another Excellent model. Superb detail, realistic lights, realistic sound and runs extremely smoothly plus a very comprehensive detail pack. 10/10
Having already bought some Mk2bs and Irish and NIR versions I had an idea these would be of equivalent quality, and they are. Their free-running qualities, fit and finish, details and general feel are in my view the best coaching stock on the market. The price, with lighting, is worth every penny and is highly competitive.
I'm hoping the next letter in the alphabet of Mk2s, "D", will be next...
Sounds great,
Easy to fit the decoder
The big accuthrash speaker really gives a bass rumble from the loco
The Speaker is easy to fit, but the one clip being a bit of a challenge to get the screws in from under the PCB. Not impossible but gently does it once the PCB is prised out
The detail on these is amazing and they don't feel delicate at all. They have a nice weight to them and are very free-rolling. You won't regret adding some of these to your collection.
For all this detail to be on this coach lighting and livery are spot on really pleased with purchase
There is no better 00 gauge Deltic on the current market. However, BR Corporate Blue livery, in my view, has never been an agreeable livery; cheap, bland and boring. Accurascale has somehow made it look exciting and vibrant on 55020.
So pleased to get this loco having missed out when Hattons offered it. Open the box and it shouts quality and detail. On track less good. Ran well at around half speed but at lower speed very jerky and slow just didn't happen! I noticed the stiff point was at the same point as wheels rotated. So I ran it at about half speed, short runs to avoid warming the motor too much. Seems the tight spot is easing and is now approaching perfection. So if you get one that's a tad stiff be gentle an think: If it took a long time to run it will take a long time to run out!
Absolutely brilliant coaches that go perfectly with the previously released Mk 2Bs. Now can we have a Mk 2D please ??
I can't find anything that would improve this model: whether its' finish, attention to detail, free running or the research that has gone into its' development, it represents the current apex. Bought as part of a rake of four, the close magnetic couplings further increase its' functionality.
Highly recommended doesn't seem enough.
These carriages just get better and better. I love the NSE livery and these just bring back some awesome memories of Waterloo to Exeter services. They’ll go well with the forthcoming Class 50s
Have long had a few of the Mk2B coaches, expectations were high for the 2C but I think these are even better! Stunning finish to the livery, perfect addition to my Accurascale rake. Well done folks.
I am so pleased with this Model of class 55 Deltic. The attention to detail is fantastic, the loco runs perfectly straight out of the box, and the sound is delicious! I an over the moon! Accurascale has done it - again!
Already have a number of the 2b coaches, and these are the perfect accompaniment to start building nice long rakes. Really hoping they don’t do another run soon, I don’t want to have to sell any more organs……

Another super model. This completes my MK2 non air conditioned stock unless earlier MK2’s are planned. The model is up to the same standard as the earlier 2B’s.
Accurascale have delivered a superb loco i can find no faults with the one i have
detail ease of fitting dcc running and weight for pulling power everything spot on only problem could be the body removeal when its time to service but should be ok if care taken bit in the meantime i will just enjoy
