This is my third 31 and it's superb as are the other two. The sound files on it are first class it's like driving a real one. No wonder it came first as Model of the year
I already have 5544 in blue so was already aware of the superb quality and accuracy but a green version was always considered to support my fleet for 34G.
Having purchased 5674 based on having been once allocated to Finsbury Park I was disappointed that my research had let me down and the model was unsuitable for my period.
Accurascale agreed to correct my mistake, without question and swapped the model for one of 5803 with FYE and arrows of indecision. This will become 5610 which was a Finsbury Park resident.
The fit and finish of the model is superb and represent the prototype beautifully.
The running is smooth and silent with sound off. With sound on the model comes alive. It is wonderful and will look the part on a rake of six blue, mk 1 suburban coaches.
I'd have more if I had the room.

Simple it's outstanding! Have since added your 31 sound decoder with Accurathrash speaker and its definitely wow factor! It runs sounds and looks wonderful. The only gripe I have is the working fan is a bit wobbly but does operate well. I did initially want 31466 but left it too late so I'm more than satisfied with my Mainline 407.I think presentation is really important and your packaging especially on your exclusives is absolutely fantastic, a work of art .I have to confess I have two exclusives as I admired the box art loco came second ! Still run them of coarse. Keep up your great work and cannot wait for your forthcoming class 60s as I have currently three on order. Kind regards Nick.

Loved the detailing and the colours are pretty much spot on. I do wish they would do an option for weathering
A classic iconic skin head Class 31/0, Product excellence, body colour application 1st Class along with accurate decoration. Sound range is very well captured, Accurascale have nailed it again.
I have now purchased 24 21 ton and 16 ton minerals as the detailing is brilliant. I worked with these vehicles in the Railway in the Leicestershire Coalfields in the 70s

I am very pleased with this purchase, wonderful to have a well detailed model of this classic industrial diesel, it is very realistic both in operation and appearance. These machines saw widespread use throughout industry, so there is endless scope for repaints, I will repaint my loco as a Irish Sugar Company locomotive.
Well done to Accurascale for producing such a excellent model.

I should know, I worked as an Engineer on Wallerscote Island, where they were loaded, direct from the Soda Ash production process….
The only thing that needs doing is weathering then white from the overspills when loading ..
So good, have ordered enough for two rakes …

Great loco. Really good working loco and the detail on the body is excellent.
Excellent wheels, accurate to gauge and easy to fit
Superb model, great sound and as you would expect super smooth runner.
Also easy conversion to em gauge using the accurascale wheel sets
Very easy to install, and to add the speaker to as well.
It may be worth having a bundle with this, the speaker, and the clips to get everything in one go.
This is one of those rare models you can happily run up and down a test track for hours, exploring the functions and fine tuning a couple of CVs. Get your orders in for run 2 pdq - with this quality they won't be around for long. Simply superb.
