D9000 - BR Green w/cantrail (VXC) - DCC Sound Fitted

When I spotted that in Run 2 of the Deltics was Royal Scots Grey in the BR Green Virgin Cross Country livery that ran in my area it was a must buy.
When it arrived I was not disappointed the level of detail was amazing . Sound was crystal clear and lighting functions were comprehensive and will show up the crew figures nicely once I put them in .
Well done Accurascale again .

First off, this thing weighs a ton!!! Pulls like an elephant. The details are amazing, it runs perfectly and the sound is clear and loud. Gorgeous and worth every penny

Lovely model, but did have some minor issues, 1-, kept derailing on points(Flieschmann Profi)found wheel gaurd irons too long cut off 1mm from length ,now ok, 2-.six power pickups across two bogies were above the wheels not on the backs,removed wheelsets to adjust,found one bogie side melted where the plastic pip is melted to retain the pickup,melted bogie plastic now holds it in place(too much heat for too long),3- after adjusting sound level and changeing address the loco started to` hunt`when running slowly a reset of cv8 seems to have cured it.

This model engine has come up to all expectations. Its detail, running capabilities, sound functions and sheer weight makes it superior to any other model I possess. I am very happy with it as it takes my standard points with a long rake of trucks at any speed with no effort whatsoever. Its slow running is superior, and running over points with the squeal set on makes the grand children giggle. Love it!

Accurascale have done it again. A superb model that I have added the crew to. Detail is outstanding.

Great looks and smooth running

I bought a Deltic released in the initial run of models but reluctantly had to return it as I had issues with derailments, parts falling off etc. Judging by the numerous excellent reviews at that time I have to assume I was very unlucky that my model was a ‘Friday’ model. When run 2 was announced I was a little bit hesitant but decided to take the plunge and I’m so glad that I did!
On opening the box nothing had fallen off in transit, the model looked resplendent in its two tone green livery and there were no glue blobs or paint blemishes to be seen. On track the model performed extremely smoothly and the motor is one of the quietest I’ve experienced. All this prior to running-in too. The sound quality is exceptional with great bass and ‘growl’ and to my untrained ears at least sounds just like a Deltic.
For future models I’d like to suggest providing crew figures and buffer beam detail pre-fitted. Even with the online guides I found it to be a bit of a faff. For those of us with less dexterous fingers and hands a spares bag with a buffer beam pre assembled, like those with your Class 66 models, would be most welcome!
Overall this is a model of exceptional quality and performance and I very pleased to have added a Deltic to my collection.

Model is fantastic. Runs like a dream. Only negative is that the headcode and cab lights flicker at one end
