lovley loco shame it took over 2 weeks to get sent out to me,, when i asked where it was ,, as i have had parcils stollen of my door step,, they took a very high handed atitude .... and canciled all my other orders lol
On arrival, the loco was free rolling, as if it had no motor or gearing. I emailed Accurascale immediately and they got back to me within two hours to offer apologies and an easy to follow solution. As it transpired, the motor had simply shifted out of alignment. The loco now runs perfectly, and looks great with its light blue livery shining in the light.
Excellent model, with excellent customer service to match.
Non runner on arrival, emailed Accurascale and they got back to me very quickly, with an explanation and a detailed, easy to follow method to solve the issue.
Beyond that, the model is fully intact, and beautifully decorated. Now the recommended method has been implemented, it runs nicely as well.
A superb model in every way,.. Runs extremely well, sounds even better, looks the part even under close examination. Accurascale have really nailed it with their 37's.. They are prototypically accurate and amazing to play with and when idle add that extra touch of realism to the layout.. Now where's that Coal Sector model???
a lovely little engine, surprisingly weighty with plenty of die-cast metal and nicely detailed

Absolutely love the accurascale 37s (I’m obsessed) this is the third sound fitted added to my collection. Just can’t get enough of them on the layout 🤩🤩🤩
I purchased 1 of these coaches to go with 4 E43108 coaches...they are superbly detailed with just the correct brightness of lighting....highly recommended ,thanks
A lovely little loco and great value.
I've bought two of them. I can't see any difference/ improvement on the Hattons model though .Unfortunately this includes the stiffness/ jerkiness at low speed on one of my models. This was also evident on the Hattons version and requires lubrication of the pistons and connecting rods. The box is also ridiculous! !
With only the early Triang, Lima & Airfix class 31 or Brush type 2 to compare with of course this model blows them out of the water. However I cannot compare it with the super detailed Hornby model or the Bachmann model.
Just a couple of niggles, plastic buffers instead of metal ones & no instructions on how to change the headcodes even thiugh a extensive sheet was supplied for alternate headncode displays otherwise a really nice locomotive.
Cracker models, just like the real thing. They just need weathered and dirtied to be perfect
This is my second lot of forklifts, they look great on a modern goods yard or deisel loco depot as well as yards and factories.
The Andrew Barclay 0-4-0st 14" 2201 "victory" in plain maroon with wasp stripes is a brilliant loco. An excellent runner and beautiful detail all round. Very weighty and with an amazing paint finish. Worth the price
Accurascale have outdone themselves with this fantastic OO gauge model.
The high level of attention to detail on the footplate to the exceptional quality of the livery is sublime. We have two Barclay locomotives at our industrial heritage railway at Prestongrange and after seeing the quality of detail on this I would love to see a reproduction model of our Grant Ritchie loco as this would complete my collection but also offer another exceptional model to customers.
The incredible attention to detail on this model is simply superb.
There is a charm about these industrial locos and Accurascale have paid tribute to these hard working locos in OO scale and this will add another level of detail to any modeller creating a typical industrial colliery scene.
