Arrived in perfect condition, runs lovely and is painted beautifully. 10/10

This truly is beautiful model, it runs well and the amount of detail and quality is awesome . I chose the Caledonian livery version as I had seen this loco in March this year at the Mid Suffolk Railway, and loved the grey with the white lining.

I've bought two of them. I can't see any difference/ improvement on the Hattons model though .Unfortunately this includes the stiffness/ jerkiness at low speed on one of my models. This was also evident on the Hattons version and requires lubrication of the pistons and connecting rods. The box is also ridiculous! !

Looks great, but not run yet

I rode behind the full size version at the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway during the summer - nice to have a memento.

This is a lovely looking little loco and I was looking forward to having it running on my layout. Unfortunately, I must have received a Friday afternoon model as it “slips out of gear”. The driving worm loses contact with the driving gear as the mounting of the motor is loose. So my model has gone back to Accurascale, whom I’m sure will fix it or replace it for me, but I can’t award 5 stars at time of writing. Give me one that works properly and I will be able to award the other star !

have to wait till after Xmas as the PAIR of them are Grandpa’s present to himself and he wants to deeply involve his youngest grandchildren in the excitement of opening The Box and whipping up their railway modelling enthusiasm to inherit said Grandpa’s chest-of-drawers pull-out layouts which don’t get taken apart, have untoward things dumped on them or get dusty and four of them only have the floor footprint of one, therefore suitable for bedrooms and not relegated to attics, garages or sculleries. Five Star I Hope, but wait till I OPEN THE BOX AT XMAS. Patience.
