Packed with detail

Very pleased with my new 55004. Detail is amazing and so much thought has been put into many areas such as the lit up dashboard and engine rooms. Then there’s the sound which is easily the best sounding loco I have now due to the depth of sound with the factory fitted speaker.
The engine is very smooth at all speeds and powerful. This is the first Accurascale engine have received though I now have a few other items such as wagons, buffer stops etc., and I have to say I’m super pleased with it.

A couple of things possibly could be improved are the body removal to maintain, fit people etc which I found difficult to do with the knowledge of what could be damaged if not super careful. The other is the marker lights being on the front of the unit when the main lights are on.

But since everything else is on another level including spot on light intensity’s of the engine room etc is still more equals the 5 stars I have put on the review.

Can’t wait for the class 31 I’ve ordered now

I have loved Deltics since i was a little boy(now in my late 50,s)and this is by far the best model Deltic you can purchase so far,look forward to running it for many years to come (p.s. a nice class 20 would be nice to run my coal train wink wink😁)best wishes James

Excellent item not run in yet just tested due to short of time just now but on quick test amazing d multiple sounds and lights it’s a sturdy well built heavy locomotive which should run brilliantly

Deltic Happy...

Another fantastic model, with its subtle changes from the first run. Just a shame there is no room for an EM2 speaker as it just gives it that extra base to the brilliant sound capture, I have tested it. Then it would be the ultimate, ultimate, if you know what I mean...
