Chaldron Coal Load - Short Version (Triple Pack)

These are good, realistic loads for my Chaldron wagons: however, they are somewhat heavier than I expected, so my Hornby Locomotion No 1 spins its wheels a bit when pulling five of them if I’m not careful with applying the power. Perhaps hollowing them out would be a good development.

It's black, looks like coal and fits in the Chaldron wagons. Exactly what I wanted.

Excellently moulded real coal loads for inserting into Chaldron wagons. Just make sure you order the correct size of either small or long versions for your stock.

I bought this short version pack to provide coal loads for three of the brown S&DR chaldrons made by Accurascale for Locomotion models. These were acquired on several visits to York and Shildon. They do the job perfectly.

I bought three sets of Chaldrons. These seemed to be the quickest and cleanest way to fill them with a load.

This is a superb addition for these diminutive wagons and really finishes them off nicely.
