Part of the ‘Transporting Britain’ range, these coaches were synonymous with the East Anglian commuter traffic heading in and out of Kings Cross, Moorgate and Liverpool Street, however their use extended beyond just the capital, being used across the Eastern, Western, Midland and Scottish regions.

Great addition to the coaching stock fleet, Crisp moulding, nice paint finish, lovely detail on underframes and internal lighting too.

57ft crimson mk1 non gangway coaches.

Please note I have replied to one request.

As I said they are 150%, the only thoughts I had was the incorrect crimson footboads and the colour of the running numbers etc are hardly legable.

No problems with ordering, tracking and delivery. Coach was stoutly packed and includes a comprehensive booklet and fittings. Coach looks good and is well constructed, weighted and free running.
Two issues :-
1. The interior lighting, operated by a wand (included), is a novel idea, but in practice it works only intermittently. Disappointing. And the booklet should mention that it uses track current and not an internal coin cell.
2. From my memories of the coach (from 1950s+) and colour photographs, the coach numbers were brighter.
