S56 Klasse Nr. 84 war eine der letzten Chargen von zehn Lokomotiven, die für die Great Eastern Railway gebaut wurden, um P57 zu bestellen, 1904 in Stratford und eingegliedert viele der Verbesserungen, die im Rahmen des Verbesserungsprogramms von 1902 an der Klasse R24 vorgenommen wurden. Nr. 84 wird in der klassischen GER-Lackierung von Ultramarine Blau mit zinnoberrotem Futter und schattierter Schrift dargestellt, wie sie vom Stratford Shed aus betrieben wurde, bis sie neu lackiert  wurde 1915 in die graue GER-Livree der Sparpolitik.

  • Large coreless motor, for a haulage capacity of not less than 1kg, from a standing start, on a 3% incline.
  • Helical gear box for maximum performance and slow speed running.
