GWR Siphon 2924 - Truly Excellent!

This Siphon is every bit as good as my previous purchase - 2789 - which is hardly surprising really... They really do look the part when sat behind the Accurascale Manor. All that we need now are GWR coaches of an equivalent standard to run with them. I can do no better than quote Gerry Beale in a recent 'Model Railway Journal' article where he says: "What Accurascale have produced is simply outstanding ... and is easily the best GWR RTR rolling stock yet produced in 4mm scale."

Very pleased with this purchase. The bogie detail is particularly impressive. Running is smooth, no doubt aided by the weight included which is a pleasant and welcome alternative to so many light and flimsy models currently available. All round this is a superb addition to y GWR fleet and highly recommended.
