BR J69 68535 stammte aus derselben Charge von 1892 wie Nr. 359, war ursprünglich als 358 unter der GER  und 7358 unter der LNER nummeriert und wurde auch als umgebaut R24r im Jahr 1904. Zusammen mit 19 anderen J69-Lokomotiven wurde 7358 während 1927/28 in die schottische Region verlegt, während 11 dieser Lokomotiven  waren zwischen 1944 und 1952 in den Süden zurückkehrte, verblieb die jetzt umnummerierte 68535 in Schottland im Dundee Shed 62B, bis zu ihrem Rückzug im August 1959.
