Iron Ore Real Loads for PTA Hoppers is what it says on the packaging and what a difference it makes to the wagons. My PTA Hoppers are very nice looking with loads, empty wagons always seem a bit plain. Nice weight to them and the polystyrene spacer gives a nice full load appearance.

Incredibly cheap

Impossible to ignore at the price, even if to re-colour. Nice weight so will give loco a work out and exact fit means wagons should stay in fine fettle (though getting to the tail light battery was already fun. All good.

LOve these loads - great for operation purposes as they can be easily put in or taken out depending on the working. Look great and fit well. Sturdy - would recommend.

I ordered the iron ore loads for my wagons as that is how I remember them running from Hunterston to Ravenscraig. The loads are hand finished with minor variation and so some were a tight fit while others went in more easily. All fitted neatly into the wagons, with none needing any filing down. I chose the loosest load for the wagon with tail lamp as it needs to be able to lift out to access the on-board button battery. Very pleased with these loads which are highly realistic, added some weight to the wagons, and really bring the wagons to life.
