Fantastic little loco

This is one fantastic little loco and I feel I really got my money's worth with this one. It's a fantastic little runner, very smooth and the blue livery looks absolutely stunning.

I give many thanks to you at Accurascale for saving what was a Hattons original and giving it a second chance at life as I was not lucky enough to get it when Hattons was around.

Many thanks for a fantastic loco once again and I look forward enormously to more purchases from you in the future - 5 out of 5 stars

Superb Barclay

I had bought a couple of the Hattons original locos and was very pleased with them. When they put out that they were going to produce some unmarked locos I ordered one straight away. Sadly we all know what happened to Hattons . When I heard Accurascale were going to take over the orders I was over the moon . I have several Accurascale locos and they are all brilliant. When the new loco arrived I couldn't believe it ..it surpasses the original Hattons loco and for such a reasonable cost. My main complaint over the originals was over the floppy and bendy handrails on both of my locos. The new Barclay just oozes quality. Thank you so much

Awesome box. Having unwrapped the wee beast it was placed on the track at my club's layout where it ran beautifully straight away. I build etched brass kits and the finesse of this model matches up, and the painting and lining is superior to anything I can manage. Delighted with it.

EXCELLENT MODEL

The locomotive ran quietly and smoothly in both directions, straight out of the box. I have a Hattons version of "Katie" and this "14" model is every bit as good for the level of detail and running characteristics. A model not to be missed! Thank you.

It's safe to say Accurascale have produced a fantastic model. It runs very smooth. It's that nice I've literally just ordered another 1 before they sell out.

Flippin' brilliant!

Initial impressions of this loco are really positive! After running in the loco runs smoothly and quietly and crawls really well. I'm really happy I chose this livery as it looks fantastic and has been really well applied! I like it so much I might save up for another one!

Small but perfectly formed

A very nicely constructed replica of a numerous class of locomotive represented as in-numbered in Caledonian blue livery. Mechanically solid and runs smoothly. Only minor
complaints are that it doesn’t come with a sheet of numbers to give it the buyer the option to choose a number. I’ll have to source numbers from elsewhere.
Etched maker’s plates would have finished the model off perfectly

Superb industrial

This little engine is a fantastic model. Really captures the prototype Andrew Barclay look perfectly. I tried it out for haulage capacity and it performed remarkably, hauling ten Bachmann/Hornby coaches without difficulty. It won't have to do that job again but the sturdiness is what you want from a loco like this. Another accolade for Accurascale !

Brilliant Little Loco

Very well detailed, smooth runner and for its size, can haul 6 Mk1s with ease.
