

LNER J69 n.° 359 provino de un lote anterior de diez locomotoras construidas en Stratford en 1892 y reconstruidas en 1904 en la Clase R24r, ganando nueva seguridad válvulas, un nuevo diseño de caldera y tanques laterales de 1180 galones , pero conservando la cabina estrecha original y el búnker de carbón . El número 359 se representa en la primera versión de 1923 de la librea LNER de negro con forro rojo, con las iniciales L&NER completamente sombreadas.
