a very competent model highly professionally produced and weighs a ton, it runs very well. Customer services also very good about queries

But it still hasn't arrived!

I do quite like this loco - it's incredibly heavy, it feels well-built, and is loaded with an impeccable amount of detail. However, it is admirable little bit fragile. A bufferbeam detail and guardiron snapped off, I was able to glue on the detail, but as I'm afraid of snapping off the bogie frames I haven't fixed the guardiron. Also, it says that it's rated for 2nd radius curves, but derails on mine. Unfortunately that's all I have access to, I know 3rd would be much better and it's what I'd prefer.

However, in no way is this a bad model. I still am very happy with my purchased, and am pleased at the model Accurascale has produced. I would highly recommend that anyone who can get their hands on one do - it's an incredible model, and one of the best diesels out there, no doubt!

Oh boy, Just superb. Defiantly a top shelf model. The detail is just stunning. The mechanism is so smooth. It is insanely heavy for an 00 model. The question is "Do I think it was a good buy. And would I buy it again?" Without hesitation I would.

Brilliant model with a wealth of fine details (pity about the chains could do with a note to say that they are in the accessory bag and are to fitted by the purchaser.)

Great looking model but can't write a review as the model appears to have a short when the sound chip and speaker are installed

Initially very impressed. The detailing is superb and so is the running qualities, although only just received between Xmas and new year I've not had much time to put it through it's paces! It will be interesting to see how well the accessory pack fits together.

Beautiful model, fantastic detail, smooth and quiet running.
Really pleased with it.

My second Accurascale purchase and my first diesel. An amazingly detailed model and a wonderful runner. I did wonder if my viaduct would hold up to the weight of this thing but I can report all is well. Definitely worth adding one to your collection. Certainly a very welcome addition to Rawstone Model Railway :)
