37902 ブリティッシュ・スチール・ランウェルン
同時に再パワーアップした形で運行開始 ミルリーズパイオニア 1986年10月、37902号機は37148/D6848号機から改造され、サイレンサーとターボチャージャーの些細な問題を除けば、MB275TとBrush BA1005Aオルタネーターの組み合わせは、その優れた信頼性と燃費効率をすぐに証明しました。クラス37/9サブクラスの他の車両と同様に、当初はラウンデル社が新たにデザインしたトリプルグレーのRailfreightイメージの無塗装バージョンに塗り替えられ、1991年初頭にMetalsサブセクターのブランドが適用されるまでこの外観を維持しました。翌年7月には、この塗装がさらに強化され、名称が「Railfreight」に変更されました。 ブリティッシュ・スチール・ランウェルン ブリティッシュ・スチールの紋章とカーディフ・カントン車両基地の銘板が追加されました。この名称はわずか15ヶ月で使用され、保管期間中に削除され、56054に置き換えられました。 1993年初頭に運行を再開したこの機関車は、1997年まで銘板が取り付けられたまま、EWS時代初期までミッドランド地方行きの鋼鉄列車で定期的に運行されていました。1999年1月に37906号と共に引退した最後の2両のうちの1両であったため、37902号にはEWSの歴史的車両としての猶予と保存措置は取られませんでした。2002年にダイレクト・レール・サービス社が機関車試験台として購入した際には、一時楽観的な見通しが浮上しましたが、運行再開の計画は頓挫し、2005年3月にビーストンのシムズ・メタルズ社に廃棄処分されました。
