Andrew Barclay 0-4-0ST 14" 2201 'Victory' in plain maroon with wasp stripes

Really pleased with 'Victory', it's a cracking litlle loco, runs beautifully. The detail is superb, the decoration is excellent. I usually model the contemporary scene but I couldn't resist this little loco. I feel I need to build an industrial micro layout now to show it off!

Whiles I must admit that this isn't accurate to the real loco having the wrong buffers and no bunker, it is still an incredible model and a smooth runner from the small amount of time I've had it going. I recognise that the inaccuracies come from Hattons and can look past it and say without a doubt the Barclay is well worth the money.

What a beautiful model. It looks great pulling 3 rail tankers.Love it.

Motor was not fitted properly I had to take it apart to fix

Definitely a drop in quality control between this batch and the Hattons batch
A lovely looking model but runs terribly, has a limb, crosshead assembly not glued in the slot correctly, paint flaking off some of the details - for a £100 model this needs to be improved

Hopefully will be able to get a replacement

A beautiful model, performed excellently straight out of the box. Flawless livery, just a little awkward to access the DCC socket.

An exquisite model full of accurate detail allied to super-smooth running. Ideal for microlayouts and shunting. I will certainly buy some of the other variants.

This Is a fantastic model, and can't wait to order another one
