LokPilot DCC Decoder (Kein Ton)

Individuell programmiert für Accurascale Class 37 lLokomotiven, um alle Funktionen der Lokomotive zu nutzen. 

Gemeinsame Merkmale:

 

  • Der LokPilot 5 Decoder ist auf analogen Gleich- und Wechselstrombahnen einsetzbar. Der Decoder schaltet vollautomatisch „on-the-fly“ zwischen den Betriebsarten um. Normalerweise muss nichts eingestellt werden.

    Funktionen

    Wir wissen, dass Sie möchten, dass Ihre Lokomotiven so realistisch wie möglich sind. Deshalb haben wir den LokPilot 5 mit Funktionsausgängen ausgestattet. Je nach Schnittstellenausführung bietet jeder LokPilot 5 Decoder mindestens 10 verstärkte Funktionsausgänge mit jeweils 250mA Ausgangsstrom. Bei den Versionen mit PluX22- oder 21MTC-Schnittstelle kommen 4 Ausgänge zur Ansteuerung von Servos oder Logikpegelausgänge hinzu. Alle wichtigen Lichtfunktionen stehen zur Verfügung. Die Helligkeit jedes Ausgangs kann separat eingestellt werden. Der Decoder beherrscht das automatische Drücken und Lösen beim Entkuppeln für ROCO®-, Krois®- und Telex®-Kupplungen.

    Motorsteuerung

    Die Motorsteuerung des LokPilot 5 wurde nochmals grundlegend verbessert. Eine variabel einstellbare PWM-Taktfrequenz von 10kHz bis 50kHz sorgt besonders bei Glockenankermotoren für einen superleisen Betrieb – das typische „Brummen“ gehört der Vergangenheit an. Die Laststeuerung kann nun auch an schwierige Fälle mit bis zu 10 CVs angepasst werden. Die einzigartige „Autotune“-Funktion ermöglicht eine automatische Kalibrierung des Decoders auf den Motor. Mit bis zu 1,5A Motorstrom sorgt der LokPilot 5 Decoder auch für ältere Motoren für ausreichend Saft.

    Betriebssicherheit

    Ein PowerPack kann zur Überbrückung verschmutzter Schienenabschnitte an den LokPilot 5 angeschlossen werden und ist standardmäßig in allen Accurascale-Lokomotiven enthalten

    Schutz

    Selbstverständlich sind alle Funktionsausgänge und der Motorausgang gegen Überlastung geschützt. Wir möchten, dass Sie möglichst lange Freude an Ihrem Decoder haben.

They work fine and do the job

Not yet convinced

Decoder very easy to fit once the body removed and the change of code from the standard 003 was done without issue. However, the engine does not run very well, indeed it is substandard The decoder is perhaps not the problem but the situation as it has presented itself not ideal.

First venture into DCC

Fitting the chip was no problem - once located the instructions on the LokPilot web site (no printed instructions included). All works fine on 12v analogue. Not yet tried on DCC as this is the first step in my journey to DCC; so will need to invest in a command station and a cab next.

Only thing that stops a 5* review is it would be helpful for something to mark pin1. I know it wouldn't damage it putting it in reversed, but it's not good practice. Otherwise, does exactly what it should.

P class decoder

fits perfectly in the socket without being to big runs perfectly smooth after 30 mins each way would buy again

It's a small one.

Didn't think a Decoder could be this small well I have now, and it does its job well, this is the smallest one that I have ever fitted. Was not sure what the loose blue wire was for so left it alone, now the loco is working just great.

P Class 6 Pin Lokpilot Decoder

Loco didn’t run so well to start with. Set some of the motor parameters towards the standard settings and achieved much smoother running. Also set up braking function and emergency brake settings and generally messed about with function button setup. All easily done with a Srog and Decoder Pro. Lokpilots are probably amongst the best decoders for the price.

DCC not as good as DC

My P Class loco worked immaculately on the Model Railway Club test tracks in DC mode. Fitting the recommended decoder resulted in a very jerky movement. I spent a considerable time cleaning the very dirty wheels which improved performance but well short of that achieved in DC mode.
