BR J69 68619 war der „berühmte“ Buckjumper und zweifellos das meistfotografierte Mitglied der Klasse, da er der Liverpool Street Passenger  war Pilot und wurde von seinen Crews und dem Stratford Shed makellos präsentiert. Mit mehreren Präsentationslackierungen ist 68619 wahrscheinlich am besten an seiner vollständig gefütterten Faux-GER-Lackierung von 1959 mit GER-Wappenzusatz zu erkennen, die er bis zum Rückzug in Oktober 1961.
